Affordable Housing Delivery
Affordable Housing is the highest single cost liability and a key component for most residential development projects, and as such, could have a detrimental affect on the viability of a scheme.
Acting for our Housebuilder and Developer clients in brokering ‘best value’ for the delivery of their affordable housing obligations is our core business, and as such, Nash Consultancy are continually advising them to ensure they minimise the level of affordable housing required, whilst maximising the financial return from the Registered Providers. We have excellent relationships and advise on most of their affordable housing requirements, regularly meeting with their Land, Technical, Commercial and Sales Departments to provide support and guidance.
Given our background in both private and public residential development we are well placed in providing a specialist service in all aspects of affordable housing and regularly meet with the Development Directors of the regional Registered Providers to discuss their business plan targets, priority areas, financial capacity, and development programmes. This provides an important ongoing update of their activity in the affordable housing market and is used to determine what Registered Providers are in a position to maximise value for any particular S106 affordable housing opportunity.
We have formed strong relationships with the majority of the Registered Providers and Local Authorities operating in the South West region and this is recognised by our Housebuilder and Developer clients.
